  Cathy Bainum is the angel of the Cedar Grove visitor center. When I about had a breakdown because I thought I drove 7 hours to full campgrounds, she assured me and my group we could still find a site and she was RIGHT! She instilled us with hope and the rest of our trip was magical thanks to her guidance and kindness. She also told us cool stories about how the park was built and answered all of our ridiculous questions. Cathy deserves a raise!

  I took a conditioning backpacking / survival course with a friend up along the Woods Canyon Trail section. That was a great challenge, great workout! Wish I had taken my camera.
